Debbi Lashbrook

Debbi started sewing at the age of nine and pursued her love of clothing design and textiles by receiving a Masters degree in Textiles and Design from the University of Illinois. She taught at the University for nine years before moving to Texas. She continued to teach at several fabric stores and managed the BERNINA Sewing Center in Plano, TX for five years before joining the Education staff of BERNINA of Ameica, Inc. Her specialties include garment construction, pattern drafting and fitting, and BERNINA Embroidery Software and My Label 3D Fashion Pattern Software.

Kimberly Einmo (you may have seen her quilting classes on Craftsy) tells about the day she met her newest machine.

Katherine sent photos of a last-minute gift-wrapping project – beautiful! She had no wrapping paper, but plenty of fabric, so she made this precious wrap – which ended up being as big a hit as the gift!

About Our Experts

Software Extravaganza was held at the Wyndham in Lisle, Illinois, this past June. Fifty-four attendees from the United States and Canada participated in the two and a half-day program on BERNINA Embroidery Software 6. Exercises included beginning to intermediate projects in EditorPlus as well as in DesignerPlus, along with a taste of manual digitizing.
