Spiral Pillow with a Twist by Deb Cacciamani

Red Spiral Pillow by Deb Cacciamani #diy #sewing

I love working with silks! The inspiration for this project—a beautiful spiral pillow from Linda Wenturine’s Pillow Panache Trio—is on the BERNINA of America website (www.berninausa.com). I made two small changes to the spirals to completely change the look of the finished project. One adjustment was how I prepared the bias strips. I decided the flowers needed more lift… more dimension… more poof! I also decided that a cluster of flowers was more appealing to me than just one.

A simple, yet clever design. A bit different than all the ‘petal’ pillows I’ve been seeing everywhere.

Very creative design indeed! That pillow is wonderful and I think for bed decoration such pillow is quite effective. Great project!! Thanks a lot for presenting.
