So Spooky! Banner
Remember the sweet Fourth of July Apron we posted from Tari Intardonato? She’s made a super banner for Halloween she’d like to share with our WeAllSew readers.
I saw the cute Trick-or-Treat Banner by Miriam Rawson and wanted to share my Halloween Banner with you. Don’t you love all the different banners out there?!
My So Spooky banner is quick and easy to make. I used Bright Border Cocktail napkins in black from AllAboutBlanks.com. They were 6 inches square, so I cut 6 inch burlap squares. I used the new OESD Charming Letters collection #12422 and OESD Halloween Sayings collection #12267. I embroidered on the burlap squares – no need to get it perfect on the cocktail napkin! After embroidering, I placed the burlap squares on the front of the cocktail napkins, turned the napkins over, and used the open weave in the cocktail napkins to sew a perfect square. I then raveled the burlap and cut it to the length I liked. A grosgrain ribbon was used to stitch the banner together. “Sew” simple!
