Stitch a Pillowcase: Sew to Serve
AllPeopleQuilt.com started the 1 Million Pillowcase Challenge as a way to inspire us to sew to serve others. To date there have been over 450,000 pillowcases handmade and donated to local charities by individuals across the USA!
There are so many ways you can help, from making a pillowcase or two on your own to hosting a pillowcase party, or even suggesting to your sewing or quilting group to take up the cause. The 1 Million Pillowcase Challenge website even has a whole page full of pillowcase patterns to get you inspired to start stitching, just visit the Free Patterns Page to find over 25 free printable patterns.
