Nicole Smith

Originally from Texas, Nicole can be found wandering about Brooklyn, damaging her eardrums with her headphones and trying to concoct things crafty or edible in her Flatbush apartment. After moving to the Big Apple she worked for several publications, including Seventeen, Teen People, Cutting Edge, and Adorn. Her work has also been featured in several publications, including Adorn, Knit.1, Bust, and several other books and magazines. She also designs sewing patterns, jewelry, and accessories for applianceclothing.com and teaches for Make Workshop in Manhattan. Nicole's newest book, Dorm Decor with Theresa Gonzalez, is available now. Her first book, Fashion DIY, which she co-authored with Carrie Blaydes, is also available and features 30 ways to craft your own style.
