’Tis the Season for Quilting! Holiday tradition meets modern quilting in this colorful tree made entirely from circles.
How did it get to be July already? The holidays are only six months away – it’s time to start sewing! Here’s a simple-to-sew table runner from Sandi Gass at Sandi’s Sewing Connection in West Burlington, Iowa. Looking for something larger? Make more blocks and stitch them together to make table toppers and quilts.
Looking for a fun and practical project for sewers of all levels? This cool-looking bag goes from super simple to super trendy with plenty of options for embellishment. Enjoy playing with decorative stitches on your machine and splash some color in the process. Walk away (and around!) with a casual bag that shows some serious groove.
Here’s Pam Craig’s version of a folio project from a class Amanda Whitlatch taught at Southern Sewing School. Want to make one of your own? Download The Folio Project instructions from the project page of Amanda’s website – and send us photos of your creation!
