Alt Design Summit or Bust!
For the second year, BERNINA of America is one of the proud sponsors at ALT Design Summit and I am fortunate that I get to attend AGAIN.
Japanese Temari Décor
I was visiting my friend Gayle and found these beautifully decorated balls all around her home. Of course I was amazed when she explained how they were created by an old Japanese art called Temari. What a great way to use up all those threads we have laying around!
Baby Moccasins by Rachel Faucett
Warm, toasty, cozy, and looking cool. Taking just a few steps to make, the design possibilities are endless. Play with fabric, leather, felt, etc. and embellish with embroidery, glitz, or anything you like. This is a great project for using up remnants, too. Once you make a pair, you won’t want to just stop there. After all, when those little piggies come back from market, they like to slip into something comfortable.

Master Craftsters Meet BERNINA
This year we had the exciting opportunity to partner with Craftster.org, an online community for crafting and DIY enthusiasts to share their projects, ideas, and inspiration. Our partnership included the loan of five BERNINA 330 sewing machines to some very talented Craftsy members; The outcome of the partnership was crafty, inspirational, and just plain fun!

Mudfoot
Well it is spring . . . and the much-needed rain has arrived here in Texas, but so have the muddy pawprints at my backdoor, where the dogs come in the house. They now have a dedicated “Mudfoot Towel.” This quick and easy project also makes a GREAT gift for any pet lover you know.
