I attended QuiltCon 2015 as a member of my local Chicago Modern Quilt Guild, and it was amazing! Here are a few highlights!

What an exciting weekend at SewDown Portland! Nearly eight inches of snow fell on the city, effectively keeping us “snowed-in” at The Nines Hotel. We didn’t care – we were there to SEW!

I’ve stitched together a lot of different projects from garments and wearable art to accessories and stuffed toys – but never really gave quilting a try. In fact, if you had asked me a few years ago if I made quilts my answer would have been, “Quilts? Are you crazy, I am not a quilter!”
