Kennel pad for large dog

Description

Our shelter gets mostly large dogs. Huge Guardian dogs, blood hounds, healers and other hunting/herding type dogs. I used a blue bandana fabric I found in Jo-Anns remnants bin for this pad. I use two layers of thick padding and hand tie these with embroidery floss. These are machine washable and for durability I use a fairly tight zigzag stitch to attach the binding. Most of these pads go home with the dogs, so I’m always looking for large remnants to make more.
