Lisa is the founder of Black Women Stitch, the sewing group where Black lives matter. She is the host of STITCH PLEASE, an award-winning podcast centering Black women, girls, and femmes in sewing. A scholar, activist, artist, Lisa believes in the power of creative liberation.

She’s been sewing since the late 1900s.
