Black & White Professional Tote Bag

This tote bag was a project that was completely outside my comfort zone. Normally I sew garments but I decided to try something new. There were so many pieces from so many different materials that I was thinking I was in over my head. The materials list had things I had never heard of and was daunting. I am not a quilter and cutting all the pieces was intimidating as well.

This bag was a lesson in cutting, using the right needle and presser foot for the various fabrics. A Teflon foot is a very nice foot to own.

There were so many firsts for me in this project. I am glad I did not quit and finished my first bag.
