Embroidery Newbie Gets Mind Blown!

I cannot believe how much this newbie has learned since starting the Jubilee Quilt.  Just this week, as learning how to do the border side triangles, I had my mind blown when I realized there was a SECOND PIECE OF FABRIC embroidered into the beautiful medallion design.  OMG!  I told each and every person in the house about what I had just learned and they (my husband and my son), just stared blankly at me and said, “Good work.  Glad you’re happy!”  Well, at least it was amazing to me! I’m a little behind on the project due to Christmas projects, and now I realized that I somehow missed the sashing steps, so it’s a new year and time to catch up!  I love this project!
