Grapes of Wrap Anniversary Quilt Part 5
Description
YAY the top is finished. My framework sashing has clean corners (that made putting it together so much slower but WOW is it gorgeous), the triangle points are accurate. I’d say this is one of the most intricate quilts I’ve put together. Since I’ve been quilting forever, I decided my goal was to make it really carefully and have points and corners match. I really like how it all came together. Originally I was making it for my daughter but am rethinking that idea as I think it needs to stay with me. I really like how it looks. I bought dark purple minky/cuddle for the back. So I’m ready for Part 6. I plan on loading the top and backing on my longarm in a couple weeks to be ready for the Part 6 directions. In the meantime, I’m going to get the binding ready because I like flange, 2 color bindings.
