Mary’s Quilt
Description
Last November at age 65 I discovered a 1/2 sister by sending my DNA to AncestryDNA. Next week we are meeting for the first time. To celebrate the event I made a quilt for her. We live about 9 hours from each other, meeting mid-way. Quilts are the best way to celebrate life’s special events. We are so excited!

Hi! My Significant Other just found 3 sisters, 3 living uncles and scads of cousins as well this past summer at 64 (after lots of nagging from me) through DNA….isn’t it great? What a nice way to commemorate your first meeting….I hope she’s as nice as you are.
