My first embroidery quilting project

My 80-year old auntie was complaining of having to wear socks to bed because her feet were cold so I decided to make her a bed scarf.   Using scraps from the quilt I’d made her last year, I made a bed scarf. Using the built-in embroidery designs on my Bernina 830 and silk batting. She says her feet are warm and no more socks at bedtime!   I normally hand quilt and this was my first project using embroidery for quilting and it won’t be my last. I love the end result! Before working on this small project I’d been afraid to ruin a project and having to rip everything out and begin again.
