Sewing Cork With My BERNINA 570QEE
Description
Sewing a bag made from cork is a breeze with my BERNINA 570QEE. I love used the dual feed to provide stability and an ease with sewing. It makes it beautiful and I enjoy sewing it. Try sewing cork on your machine, it’s fun.

I used a 37D (1/4″ foot and 1D foot). The 37 and 1C foot are equivalent. You can use the 52 non-stick foot as well. I did not have difficulty going over the cork. Use a larger needle like a 90/14 or 100/16 and increase the stitch length a bit when topstitching on it.

I disagree with you: the 37, 37D are not the same as the 1, 1C or 1D. The 1, 1C, 1D feet are reverse pattern feet – the 37 and 37D are 1/4″ feet or patchwork feet for the 5.5 mm feed dog machines!
Sorry to throw a wrench into the works but they are different.

Hello,
I used the Urban Crossbody Bag pattern by Sew Cute And Quirky. The bag has a zipper on the back, front pocket and interior pockets too. The website is http://www.quirkyb.com
Thanks

What presser foot did you use when sewing on cork?
