Harley T-shirt quilt
Description
I made this for a friend. He had so many shirts that I made it double-sided. On one side, the shirts were pieced in strips. On the other side, the piecing was done in a more random way.

If you must have everything perfect this may not be a good project for you.
I back the shirts with light weight interfacing which helps a lot but there is still some give and making everything perfectly square is tough. I have done a version where each shirt is in a “window” with quilting cotton all around but there is still a little stretch in some of them. My family all have too many t-shirts that they want in the quilt and I like it to have a good drape so I use the lightest weight and just live this the imperfections. You might test out different weight interfacing to see which will eliminate the stretch.

Did you have any trouble with the tee shirt fabric stretching when you pulled it tight to quilt it?
Thank you!
