My sewing studio
Description
I am super fortunate to have a large studio where I can paint, sculpt, AND SEW! The large space (which used to be a corner grocery market in the 1920s) is divided into 4 areas, with the 4th area being a place where I can display my art. The sewing area has an L-shaped table for my Bernina and mini ironing board, plus a cabinet for threads and shelves for books. Next to that, my Juki longarm awaits quilting projects. My husband converted his old foosball table into a cutting and pressing table for me. Assorted storage containers and antiques from my mom hold all kinds of projects, embroidery threads, pattern and sewing notions. At the very end of the space are bookcases that hold my fabric stash. I know I am super lucky to have this space, and I appreciate it every day! (P.S. I would have tidied up for photos, but honestly, I work on so many projects it’s never completely tidy!)
