Late bloomer and wanted the best, so I bought a Bernina
Description
I didn’t start sewing until after I retired, but I knew it was going to be a very satisfying addiction. My friends said get a Bernina, so I bought the 780 and the Bernina 7 design software. Within a couple of years I was doing so much embroidery along with my patchwork that I purchased a 580 so I could do both at the same time. I loved digitizing applique, making quilt labels, and digitizing for a Minecraft quilt. I built my studio on the Washington coast around my sewing habit and spend many happy hours here. After taking a Bernina Academy course in Portland I decided to purchase the 700 embroidery machine and ordered the new 880 125th anniversary machine. I can hardly wait to bring it home. My friends very quickly spoke up the buy my “old” machines. I look forward to many years of happy Bernina sewing.
