Bernina 125th Anniversary Quilt

Description

This was the Bernina 125th Anniversary Quilt Along with Amanda Murphy from September 2018 to February 2019. I wanted to do this project because I had retired in September of 2018 and decided to try and do a project from the Bernina Blog. I had gold and gold striped fabric  that my daughter bought for me when she was in India as a long term volunteer. I was thrilled to finally have a project that  I could use the fabric for. Plus I love my Bernina and felt it would be a way to celebrate the anniversary with Bernina. The machine embroidery was a challenge on my 730, but I got it done and I am very happy how it turned out. I plan to keep this quilt for myself as a memory of the fabric gift from my daughter and to smile when I think of my Bernina
