My first quilt project-Kennel Quilt for Animal Rescue

My mother and grandmother were quilters and sewists, but I never picked up the quilting skill. Since I retired last year, I’ve started sewing again. I’m giving quilting a shot. I have a new Bernina 535 and I have the patchwork foot so I was able to figure out the 1/4″ seams. I’m very proud of my exact seams on this project. It was a fun beginner project to play with the walking foot and seam guide. I’m loving my Bernina!
