Melanie Testa

Melanie Testa is both a qult artist and textile designer living in Brooklyn, New York. Melanie's interest in art began at an early age and continues in an exploration of color, light, texture and surface embellishment. She is the author of Inspired to Quilt, Creative Experiments in Art Quilt Imagery and a DVD called Print, Collage, Quilt, both by Interweave Press. She has also written several articles for nationally renowned magazines and trade journals. Melanie is also a superhero whose magic cape was sewn on none other than a BERNINA sewing machine.
