A Foot for all reasons…
Description
I live in a remote area, closest town is 25 miles away. A shop in this town offered a block of the month project to learn how to use each of the many feet the newer machines come with. The shop was a Janome dealer but they assured me they could help me with my Bernina and all the feet Bernina offers. After the first block, I knew I was on my own. I made the crazy decision to do two quilts of the same pattern at once so I would have a pair for my twin beds. I tried to do each different in fabrics and colors. I had to use Bernina and YouTube to figure out how to use my feet. The shop closed down before I could finish my projects but finally they are ready to quilt. Now I have to figure out how to free motion quilt. That’s the fun of these incredible machines. I did these two on both my Bernina Artista 730 and my Bernina 880.

I forgot to ask–after using so many feet, do you have a favorite?

Right now my favorite foot is the ruler foot as I feel it is helping me learn to free motion quilt in a contained manner.

I meant quilting in a controlled manner.
