“Hocus Pocus”

Description

I started this quilt for my Grand Daughter Eryn, one and a half years ago. I began teaching myself to quilt when I bought my Bernina 730 Artista about four years ago. This was the toughest learning experience I have had to date. My first two quilts were difficult but I bought the Bernina 880 when the special model came out and adding the embroidery along with lots of applique complicated finishing this quilt. I did quilt the entire thing in the hoop. I did not use a pattern on any of my first three large quilts. I had to learn too much the hard way. This quilt is 75inches wide by 120.5 inches long. It will be a wall hanging. I am working on another for my Grandson and hope to take both to them for Thanksgiving. I am just thrilled to have completed this project as for a while it looked very iffy!
