Kennel Beds for Shelters

Description

I am a quilter and a member of 2 local quilt guilds.  I use my batting scraps and fabric trimmings to fill shelter beds made with fleece and flannel.  I sew them quickly together with my Bernina 460L serger.  I also take scrap and trimming donations from quilting friends and fellow guild members.  It’s an easy way to make pet beds and avoid adding to our landfills.  The attached photos are of recent donations to Central Oregon Human Society and Bright Side Animal Shelter in Redmond, Oregon.
