Maine’s 1st Quilt – Job Complete

My sewing room floor is knee deep in thread but my quilt is finished. What a beautiful quilt – I love the fabric combination and pattern. I will say that while this was not an easy project, I learned an incredible amount and have a wonderful sense of accomplishment! There are features on my Bernina 790 that doing this made me learn, what a great way to encourage the use of all of the technology these machines possess. I would like to thank  Amanda, her tutorials were excellent; I NEVER  could have completed this project without them. The part I most feared (free-motion quilting) turned out to be my favorite technique. I’m thinking that now I would like to do a second quilt – YES I’M HOOKED 🙂
