OESD Gingerbread House
Description
This one is a really nice design!! I hooped two layers of water soluble stabilizer and I backed the fabric applique pieces of the roof, walls, and bottom with OESD FiberForm. I backed the fabric applique pieces ( door, chimney, candy) with OESD StabilStick. The house is nice and sturdy!! Of course I used the alligator clamps to get the buttonettes into the eyelets–easy peasy with them!!

You said that you backed the fabric with fiber form for the walls. Did you cut out for the lace areas or did it matter?

Hi Babs,
The stitch out has fabric placement lines. After the placement line is stitched, you lay your fiber form backed fabric piece over the placement lines. The next stitches are the tack down stitches. When that is done, I use a Havel’s Snip-Eze scissors to cut the excess fabric away from the outside of the tack down stitches. This link and video from OESD will help:
