Sensory Blanket/Fidget Quilt for Dear Friend with Dementia

When my friend was at my home, I noticed she had a stuffed animal and zipper pouch.  It reminded me that I had seen sensory blankets online. I decided to make one for her–spent that afternoon and evening doing so in order to get it off in time for her birthday!  I’d read that it’s always good to have some writing-so I embroidered two panels with words, included some crinkle paper in a couple spots, overlaid one square with nettings and provided different textures and activities  for her.  Hoping it brings her lots of joy!
