Anniversary Blues – Month 1
Description
I bought a Bernina 765 in February 2017, but due to life events, I did not get a chance to use it much until recently. I took the mastery classes at my local quilt shop which were a big boost. Then I saw the 125th Anniversary quilt and thought it would be a good challenge to help reinforce my learning. I’ve chosen an assortment of blue fabrics from my stash paired with white-on-white prints for the background. There is something extra satisfying in making a quilt with fabric I already have; however, I will need to buy some thread for the embroidery.

I totally agree it is cool to make this quilt with fabric from the stash pile. All but one of my fabrics (the purples) were from my stash. I like that ours are different than the others. The gold ones are so pretty but I’m a bright color girl.
