Nikki's journey from corporate America back to her roots in sewing is truly inspiring, even to her! Nikki is the daughter of Charlotte, Beatrice, Juanita and Charlotte and her passion for sewing has 4th generation roots. At 8 years old, she sat on the porch sewing with her Granny and never stopped. She taught Nikki all the needles and sewing and crochet stuck and a little embroidery, but knitting ? - UGH!

Returning to sewing and teaching after a 30-year successful corporate career including a global pandemic, Nikki learned she was dedicated to sharing her skills with others. Sewing is not only a practical skill but also an art form that allows for self-expression and creativity....and all of that feels really good. She learned to sew by hand and got her first sewing machine at 12 years old. Nikki loved transforming old clothes into new, fashionable pieces, realizing her talent for upcycling and repurposing.

As a speaker at various conferences and events, Nikki has had the privilege of sharing her knowledge and experience with audiences around the world. It brings her great joy to see the excitement in people's eyes as they discover the limitless possibilities of sewing. Whether it's creating one-of-a-kind lingerie, swimsuit, new pair of jeans, or something else bringing fond lifetime memories to your audience, sewing is a skill that empowers individuals to express themselves in new and exciting ways.
Now, as Nikki continues along this chapter of teaching others to up their sewing game, her wealth of experience and passion will undoubtedly inspire and empower you. She loves sewing her style and helping others do the same. Nikki would love to join you on your sewing journey just as Granny did for her.
