Ann’s Sewing Room

Description

My sewing room, although usually cluttered, provides workspace for many projects.  Although I couldn’t show all of the furniture in one picture, I have built all of my own furniture out of cherry wood.  This way I got exactly what I wanted for my space.  (I always say that carpentry involves the same skill set as sewing–you just measure 10 times before you cut!)  I have owned an array of Berninas since 2000 and am very bonded to my 780.  I am a member of a Quilt Bee and our local Quilt Guild and churn out more quilts than I have room to show.  Despite my years of sewing, I’m still trying to learn the best habits and techniques.  I believe you continue to learn daily.  I also use the embroidery feature on my machine and sew for customers.
