Inspiration Quilting Studio; my happy place!

Description

Years ago, in a guided meditation, I was asked to imagine my happy place.  I invisioned a room with windows all around, nestled in a forest and filled  with light, color and projects of my own creation. Four years ago we moved into a walkout rambler nestled in an oak forest, with a peculiar room attached to the back of the house. The room had been added on by a previous owner as a hair salon. My talented husband remodeled the hair salon into a Quilting Studio for me, thus manifesting the happy place I had invisioned years earlier. I recently added the Q-24 and Q-matic to my studio and have started a longarm Quilting business. I am truely blessed!

  • Super great use of space! I have a question – I see a slat board on your wall? Can you tell me what brand it is or where you sourced it? I really would like to put up slat wall storage in my studio. – Patty S.

  • Thank you for the positive comments and questions. The slat wall is a sturdy plastic made by Proslat and purchased through Home Depot’s online store. The pegboard wall is metal, and more versitle because things are hung with pegs or magnets. This was also purchased through the Home Depot online store.
