My Sewing Space

I’m an artist and designer and I create womenswear and wearable art. Before having my own sewing room, I traveled for shows and events with my BERNINA and sewed wherever there was space; a friends’ kitchen table, on an ironing board, and once in a basement tool area (whatever it takes to see the project through). Although the spaces changed, my BERNINA was my constant. It was the first sewing machine I’ve ever owned and still the one I use for every project. My space now has room for my dress forms and racks, fabrics and notions and all the inspiration I hang on the walls.
