Small quilt made from my stash – Wishes for A New Year

Description

This is a little quilt I made from my stash. It is titled Wishes for A New Year, and was shown as part of the 2014 SAQA Traveling Show. Quilt is made from cotton fabric, dupioni silk, corduroy, acrylic felt and wool and silk embroidery. It has hand embroidery and sequins and beads as embellishment. Love creating from my stash, now I go to my stash first, and only use new fabrics when needed. Also have started using my own hand painted fabrics and needle-felted fabrics.
