As you know, I sold my house, put most everything in storage and am living in a small camp. I did keep my sewing machine and 2 bins of fabric. One of the bins was a bin of UFO’s. I’m just stunned. What timing and how lucky for me that I had a bin of UFO’s. So I pulled out a wall hanging that was started at a sewing expo class 7 or 8 years ago. I had the squares made, but sewn not together yet. So I finished the top and then practiced my free motion quilting. Then did the binding. UFO one completed. Then I patched a hole in a girls romper for a friend that had been sitting around for a week or two. Next I free motion quilted a x-mas quilt I pieced last year. Added the binding. Now all that is left is hand stitching the binding. I’ll do that in the evenings for the next week or so. I’d say that was a productive week. This month has been my first chance I’ve had to sew since March! I still have one more pieced quilt to quilt and bind for a very lovely young lady. But that may have to wait for another week. Thanks for the motivation to get them done!
