Where I sew…

After at least 10-years, I got back into sewing thanks to BERNINA. However, our house is at max compacity. With four generations (Grandma, Mom, Myself, and my Son), my amazingly supportive husband, three dogs, and one cat. I had no idea where I was going to be able to work. However, that didn’t stop me, and I borrowed a machine, ordered a craft-table, and lots of supplies. Once I got the craft-table, I was more than ready to get started. Where it was going to go was a struggle, though collapsible, I have to have my husband help me set it up and take it down after every use. I have to set it in front of the closet, between two dressers and use my bed as my chair. Or adjust the table so I can stand. Which makes it perfect for stripping (I just learned that term at a quilting bee). Side note: on the dresser with the TV, you might notice my first quilt, a table runner. Mistakes, blood, and all. Once the table is up, and the BERNINA has been unpacked from the travel bag, I turn on my favorite show, and sew! My space might not be ideal, it works, and I couldn’t be happier!
