Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative 2013
Ami Simms began making quilts to support Alzheimer’s research in 2006. Since then more than 13,000 quilts have been donated to her Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative, raising over $894,000 and funding research studies at more than a dozen universities and medical schools. Help Ami reach her goal of $1 million raised by the end of 2013 by making and donating a quilt, or purchasing one (or several) of those already donated.
