My favorite Christmas Craft are the seasonal quilts with my 830! Love to sew for friends and family! -
My favourite craft thing to do for the holidays is to gather up all the kids either in the neibourhood, or church, or wherever and let them make Christmas gifts for their parents and/or siblings.
You can’t believe how it warms and fills your heart with joy to see them working so hard, yet having fun, making these gifts. My dinningroom is full of packages I’ve wrapped for them and will keep them until closer to Christmas to keep them safe from ‘Peekers!’.
It not only helps the kids to give gifts they normally wouldn’t be able to give and it teaches them to be creative which is much more important than the gift. But the main thing they get out of making their gifts to give at Christmas, or Chanukkah, it gives them self-worth which is so important to teach children.
This is my favourite Christmas craft idea and to make. To make these kids happy.
Happy Holidays to all!

This year, we (my husband and I) are teaming together to make shopping bags. Back in the 1980’s, I received a free pattern from a material store. I never thought I would ever need to make shopping bags, so I buried it. I found it about four years ago; not only a good started project for teaching my spouse to sew, but homemade shopping bags are great for the environment. I personalize each bag buy adding a large front pocket, with name and subject matter that interest the receiver.
