Thank you Bev! No instructions at this time but I’ll be sharing some serger technique tutorials here on We All Sew in the near future. Keep a look out for those projects!

Please, please do share more serger tutorials! I took all of the mastery classes when I bought my 1300 MDC serger, but there is so much that was left out that I had to figure out on my own, hunting all over the internet. For instance, they taught us how to set up the machine to do the cover stitch, but did NOT tell us that we should stabilize the hem before stitching (which made a huge, huge difference for the lightweight knit fabric of my wrap dress). I would also like to see serger tutorials about changing the order of construction to use the serger more efficiently.

Rebecca! Thank you so much for taking time to comment. You can count on more serger technique and tutorial here on We All Sew or on my own blog over at http://www.TrashN2Tees.com. Your feedback and insight really help me to create content readers want to see. I hope you know how much I appreciate that!

Hi there. I’m brand new to sewing and just inherited a Bernina 1300 serger I’m eager to learn. Where can I get classes?

Showing the picture without the technique on how accomplished was really a waste of computer time.
