Empty Nest Sewing Studio

Description

I’ve been sewing since I was a young child, but like many women I spent most of adult life raising kids and working on my career. Other than the yearly halloween costumes and occasional project for my home, I couldn’t dedicate a lot of time or space to this early passion. When my youngest son graduated from college and moved away to start his own life I finally decided it was time to take over the basement bedroom and make it my own. Hence the empty nest sewing studio. The first thing I did was install much better lighting than any teenage boy needs in their bedroom. It’s gradually become a place I love and have spent countless hours in creating beautiful sewing and craft projects. Someday I hope to retire and spend even more time in here!
