Sew-tember is the perfect month to celebrate sewing. The big holidays are quickly approaching and so many sewing projects to make them more special.

My granddaughter and I share a space. She has an art table and a play kitchen. Between stitching, I taste a pretend gourmet dish she creates. She plays with my scraps and leftovers threads, which she cuts up to create a pretend quilt. Outside the window is a flower garden with a birdbath and feeder to inspire me.
