Winning the Anniversary Foot

I got my first Bernina 580 only a few months ago. My husband was going to buy me a Janome this spring, but a friend and former dealer overheard me talking about it and decided to approach me with a fabulous offer. She had a slightly used Bernina 580 which she wanted to sell me. I briefly considered waiting for the Janome but only briefly. I have wanted a Bernina for many years but considered it out of my price range. In my 40 years of sewing I have only used Singer and Brother. But I have always dreamed of having a Bernina. I am so glad I decided to go with the Bernina. What fun I have had with it. These days I sew for my Granddaughter. Doll clothes, stuffed animals, anything she asks for. Attached are a few pictures of things I have made with my new Bernina  The machine is wonderful. Everytime I use it I find a “cool” feature to try out. It came with the embroidery module so that’s just double the fun. I actually have trouble sleeping because my mind is racing with ideas.

  • After about three months of research both technical and social reports, I decided on my Bernina 580 and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Embroidery and Bernina quality stitches offers me everything I could want. Now for the Bernina software 8 and my wishes will have all come true.

  • I would love to win the “Big Book of Feet”! I think I have about 10 different feet and I need to have some guidance so I can master them all. Love the #10, makes the best small seams ever.
