Floral Pincushion
The Stitch Me Floral Pincushion was sewn on a BERNINA 550 Quilters Edition and features Sketchbook Fabric, a collection designed by Sharon Holland. The Sketchbook fabric collection is full of hand drawn floral and nature designs. One of the prints called Textured Slots Soft lends itself perfectly to being used in appliqué projects! This fun circular design was the inspiration behind this floral pincushion. Plus there is no such a thing as too many pincushions!
In the Stitch Me Floral Pincushion project we learn to use decorative stitches, how to use the Free-Hand System (FHS), and how to applique with Steam-A-Steam. This project is perfect for using left over scraps and to practice your quilting and decorative stitches! Make one for yourself or for a friend, this would make such a sweet and thoughtful gift for a fellow stitcher!
