I'm a native Montanan. My Mother started me sewing at age 5 and I was in 4-H for 9 years. I bought my first embroidery machine five years ago. It was a used Bernina 580, as I wanted to prove to myself that I was really going to learn to embroider. I was immediately hooked, and added a Bernina 880 two years ago and soon had to upgrade that. I often have both machines going on two different projects at the same time. Evenings and weekends are spent at my machines creating. I'm currently a Special Education Director and School Psychologist, and looking forward to retirement in the Spring. I plan to spend my time sewing, embroidering, quilting, teaching embroidery classes and taking as many classes as I can find.
