One of my favorite sewing spaces is my little Airstream Bambi. It’s 19 feet of adorable retro-ness designed by David Winick to celebrate Airstream’s 75th Anniversary. Ours is number 57 of a run of 75 and we call her Heinz. She is modeled after the early 1960 models but with modern conveniences. I like carrying along my little Singer Featherweight rescue so that I can sew while my husband goes on his hours long bicycle rides. It looks so cute on the Marmoleum table when I sew inside and on a picnic table when the weather allows me to sew outside.
