My Sewing Space
Description
This is my “Happy Place”. Since retirement, I use my southwest bedroom as a sewing and craft room. My sewing machine is situated in fro of the windows where I can look at my gardens. Behind my cutting and quilting table hangs a memory quilt panel exhibiting my mother’s many needlecraft skills. I inherited my mother’s Bernina when she passed away. She had used it for over 25 years, and it is still in great working order. I have a small business in which I fill orders for Memory Bears, Memory Quilts, Memory Bags and Memory Pillows. I am currently leading a group of ladies who gather to create items to be given away of those who need a blessing. I spend many happy retirement hours in my sunny sewing room creating all kinds of projects to sell, enjoy myself, or give away.
