Penny’s Sewing Room

Description

This is a view of my sewing room that I see from my kitchen sink. It is a converted sunroom next to my kitchen. Outside my sewing room, on the deck, I have a small container garden with tomatoes and eggplants in it. I also have a plumeria plant on the porch. I love the light and I bordered the room with all kinds of house plants. The cutting table is a 45 year old dining room table with a laminated top, given to me by my in-laws. I have a bookshelf that my husband built where I store boxes of patterns and my books on sewing. With so many windows and no wall space, I have bought several rolling carts and storage bins which I keep under the cutting table. I have also had to buy lots of boxes and tins to keep my supplies in. This is my place of zen!

Thank you for the possibility of winning a beautiful Bernina machine in the “Celebrate National Sewing Month” contest.
