Quilt top pieced
Description
So happy to get the quilt top pieced together. I love the embroidery blocks and was not sure about the black threads and black fabric addition for the cornerstone borders. I do like the contrast. This has been fun to try to get caught up and all after joining so late has been nerve racking and scary. Just even putting pictures on the blog have moved me out of my private corner space and into sharing for all the world to see has been very challenging for me. So love learning from this quilt along and so challenging.

Thank you so much for your comment, I was hesitant to use the black for sure, I never quilt with black only blue or other darks, so this was a true out of my box idea and not comfortable.

Bold choice with the black. It looks pretty cool! I don’t think I would have been that brave, but it turned out quite well!! Nice work!
