Hello, WeAllSew readers! I’m Marigold from a little blog on the other side of the Internet called Hideous! Dreadful! Stinky!, and I’m here to invite you to take off your pants with me. What’s that? You’re not that kind of girl? Well, hang on and let me explain…
Thanks to all who sewed along with us for our Sunrise Baby Quilt Sew-along! We loved seeing how you created your very own Sunrise Baby Quilts, and if you shared a photo with us you’ve entered our super goody-bag giveaway – and we’ll announce the big winner at the bottom of the post!
You still have a few hours to enter your photo in our Sunrise Baby Quilt contest, but you’ll have to stitch quickly! Send a picture of your completed quilt to us at email@example.com before 11:59:59 Central. We’ll post them Wednesday, April 3, and announce a winner next week.
Have you ever wanted to become a fabric designer? Joining the likes of Tula Pink and Amy Butler? Starting with a blank canvas and taking your eye for color combinations and patters a step further? Well here is your chance!
Last week we completed our instructions for Erika’s Sunrise Baby Quilt, so maybe you’re wondering why we’re posting again for Week 5. Maybe you’re thinking, “I finished my quilt and it’s totally cute! What more is there to do?” Well. We have a surprise for you.
I was looking for a fun, quick, and easy sewing project to help make a dent in my overflowing fleece scrap pile. When I saw the BERNINA USA facebook post for the ‘”Snuggly Owl Pinterest Party,” I thought the owl was really cute and knew that it would be a great project to start with.
Our third and final WeAllSew Challenge, “Break the Spell of Routine Halloweens,” is now ready for voting. Visit our Facebook fan page to see all the creative projects and vote for your favorite most awesome upcycled Halloween costume made out of some old “odd-and-ends” found in the deepest corners of our contestants’ wardrobes!
How many orphan blocks do you have in your stash? Here’s a great idea for the summer. Use them in a project and you could win a phenomenal prize package! (Including a BERNINA Sew Essential Tool – a sewing kit in a Swiss knife!) Check out The Great Summer Orphan Block Challenge at Hummingbird Highway!
