Back to School with Personalized Backpacks

School starts in a few weeks so it’s time to embroider backpacks for my youngest grandchildren. The basting feature on my BERNINA 830 really made it easy! (If you don’t have a machine with a basting box feature, you can download basting box files at www.berninausa.com.)

Here’s a photo of the backpack flap being embroidered. It is secured to the stabilizer in the hoop with pins, and the basting box around the lettering keeps the flap from shifting while the name is stitched.
